Tuesday: 7 AM - 5 miles easy.
7 PM - 7 miles easy w/ 8 strides; GS.
Wednesday: Off - No AM run, then had to work late. Opted for sleep when I got home, so no run today.
Thursday: 7 AM - 5 miles easy - legs still pretty dead, to be expected I suppose after a week like last.
6 PM - 3 mile warmup, 2 miles alternating 30s hard / 30s moderate - 10:05 (5:04, 5:01), 1 mile cooldown (6 miles total); GS.
Friday: 11 AM - 5 miles easy w/ 4 strides.
Saturday: 9 AM - 2 miles easy shakeout.
2 PM - USA Cross Country Championships - 17th place, 37:54 (11 miles including warmup/cooldown).

Sunday: 2 PM - 8 miles easy.
Summary: 55 miles, 3x GS
The primary goal this week was to recover the previous eight days' hard training. Went more or less to plan. Tallahassee, run as a tough workout on full volume and tired legs, expectedly left me crushed for a few days. I was glad to still get in a light tuneup/maintenance session Thursday night and to have a good race at USA XC.
