Friday:  AM - 15 quality - Beautiful day, finally!
PM - 8 easy

Saturday:  AM - 9 easy - Plans of a 10 quality / 8 easy double today vanished as I headed out the door.  My legs are feeling it a bit from 124 miles in the last 6 days, but more specifically, I got roped into going out last night past 1 a.m.  Being in a routine, I still got up at 8 a.m., and the legs felt like garbage, though not quite as bad by the end of the run.
PM - 9 easy - Myrtle core, abs, hamstring curls (up to 3 sets of 10 now, each leg)
Total - 18

Sunday:  AM - 22 quality - Pretty solid run to the suburb Holstenbek west of Hamburg.  Maybe 6:10s on the way out and 5:45/5:50 avg. on the way back.  Tough, but felt good...maybe go for a bit more of a progression next weekend.

Summary:  142 miles, 3x Myrtle core, 5x abs, 5x hamstring curls.

Solid week back in normal training mode without travel.  This is actually the highest mileage week I've ever done.  I've been in the 130s a few times before, with a previous high of 136 last spring.  Got in some good extra work as well.  This week also probably had more quality running than my previous weeks of real high mileage...about 84 miles this week at a good aerobic pace (sub-6:30 or so for now).  And that was doable because I was taking the easy supplementary runs as easy as they needed to be, 8 minute pace on some runs.  Next week will definitely be a challenge, as I have a crazy class schedule, up to 11 hours a day some days.  We'll see how it goes...
